Indoor Soccer Registration is CLOSED.
Teams for various age groups are being created at this time.
If you complete your registration and decide to CANCEL the registration the following actions will occur:
- Before 10 Sep 2017 a $15.00 Administration fee will be deducted from the registration fee.
- After 10 Sep 2017 a $50.00 Administration fee will be deducted from the registration fee.
- After 14 Oct 2017 (Season Start) no reimbursement will occur.
If you register your player after Sep 10th 2017, an additional Late Registration Fee of $35.00 will be applied to the Registration fee for that age group.
While BSA allows you to make special requests on your registration form (up to September 10, 2017), remember that it is simply not possible to accommodate all requests. While we will do what we can to grant requests, there are absolutely no guarantees of requests for player placement being met.
An “Age movement” is a request for a player to play on a higher-age team.
All age movement requests must be completed in the Portal at time of registration no later than September 10, 2017. You will be notified of the decision by email. The Executive Board’s decision is final.
You may request a downward age movement due to a child’s mental or physical disabilities however these are accepted only in rare cases and must be accompanied by a Physician’s recommendation. Letters from physicians must support these requests. This request must be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than September 10, 2017.

MM/U4- Sunday Afternoon games in Beaumont School Gymnasiums
U6 & U8 - Saturday games - U6 & U8 play at the South Soccer Centre in Edmonton (6520 Roper Rd NW, Edmonton, AB) on Saturdays. (Usually Saturday morning). As well there will be one practice (average) during the week in a gym in Beaumont. Once we know what gym times and when coaches are available that schedule will come out.
U10 & U12 - Saturday Games - Any Soccer Centre
U14 to U18 - Sundays games - Any Soccer Centre
Practices for ALL age levels will be coordinated by the Team Coaches in October, and are dependent upon gym/space availability.
Volunteer Deposit (or) Volunteer Position Buyout
As with many community based organizations they rely heavily on Volunteers in order to complete the many tasks required to function effectively. The Beaumont Soccer Association is no different as we need volunteers. Volunteers do everything from sorting our equipment, Coach our games, fundraising (such as BBQs and Bottle Drives) and conducting our annual Soccer Fest, just to name a few. The volunteer positions normally have a duration from 1 hour to as many as 4 hours.
This year we are giving families the option to buyout of their volunteer position. We will set a date and families will have until that date to sign up for a position or opt to buyout. The funds collected from the buyouts will be used to hire other individuals in the community to complete those same tasks.
The Volunteer Deposit will be cheque in the amount of $250.00 (Due Immediately upon Registration) cashed only if you do not sign up for a Volunteer position prior to October 1st (for Indoor) March 5th (for Outdoor) each year or if you are a no show to the Volunteer position you signed up to do. These funds may be used to hire someone at short notice to do fill the position.
The Volunteer Buyout will be $150.00 paid up front prior to the season start date.
The hope is that families will continue to volunteer and be actively engaged in their child's activities and not opt for the buyout.

Info for Parents on Registrations
Based on questions raised by parents we are taking steps to answer them as they come in. This is where we will share them with you, in case you are thinking the same thing.
Q1. Is there a discount for registering siblings?
A1. Yes, if you register 3 or more siblings then you'll receive a $25 discount on the 3rd and subsequent children.
Q2. How much is the Jersey Deposit? And who collects it?
A2. The Jersey deposit is dependent on the age group usually $200 ($100 for white/$100 for blue). This will be collected by coaches or managers just before the jerseys are handed out.
Q3. If the jerseys are returned at the end of the season do I get the deposit cheque returned?
A3. Yes, if both jerseys are returned in wearable condition then you will get your deposit cheque back.
Q4. Where do I drop off the Volunteer Deposit cheque?
A4. The volunteer deposit cheques can be dropped off at the Ken Nichol Regional Recreation Centre (KNRRC) in the wooden boxes, the BSA box is #2.
Q5. What date should be on the cheques?
A5. For the Indoor season the date should be April 30th of the upcoming year. For the Outdoor season it is April 30th of the current year.
