Concussions

Concussions are a brain injury and must be treated seriously!

Concussions are the bruising of the brain tissue and the patient requires medical treatment and rest. If a player continues to participate, this could create long term irreversible side effects. And a follow-on concussion could cause death.
The Alberta Soccer Association has created a Concussion Protocol and Policy that every soccer team playing in Alberta must adhere to for the safety of our players.
