Where do I find the field closure information?
What are the coaching requirements?
Grassroots Pathway
- Obtain an NCCP number through the Coaching Association of Canada HERE
- Complete the Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders course
- Complete the appropriate Canada Soccer Grassroots Theory Module:
- Active Start: U4–U5 | 90 minutes | $21
- FUNdamentals: U7 | 90 minutes | $21
- Learn to Train: U9–U11 | 120 minutes | $31.50
- Soccer for Life: U13+ | 120 minutes | $31.50
Returning coaches, assistant coaches and U13+ Tier 4 coaches must also complete:
- Understanding the Rule of Two
- Emergency Action Plan
- Making Headway in Soccer
- Make Ethical Decisions
- Safe Sport Training
- The appropriate Grassroots Practical Workshop (Active Start, FUNdamentals, Learn to Train, Soccer for Life)
