We kindly ask that you read through ALL of the following information before reaching out to our administrator. We have tried our best to provide all of the required information that you will need for the upcoming season.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO PLAY?
The following fees will apply:
U5 (born in 2020 & 2021) $180
U7 (born in 2018 & 2019) $250
U9 (born in 2016 & 2017) $435
U11 (born in 2014 & 2015) $435
U13 (born in 2012 & 2013) $465
U15 (born in 2010 & 2011) $465
U17 (born in 2008 & 2009) $465
U19 (born in 2006 & 2007) $465
Fees are due upon registration. Failure to complete both Registration (EMSA Portal) and Payment (TeamSnap) is considered an incomplete registration.
WHEN DO WE PLAY?
The following are TENTATIVE game days for the different age groups and are subject to change. Additional practices and/or technical sessions are not able to be scheduled until coaching staff are in place:
Should registration numbers be low in any age group, players may be sent to play in Edmonton area.
U5 MIXED and U7 Boys/Girls - one session per week on Saturday; location will be in BSRC
U9 BOYS and Girls - three sessions (1 game, 1 coach practice and 1 technical) per week,
- Games on Saturday Mornings/Early Afternoon (typically) in Beaumont or Edmonton
- Technical on Fridays (sign up required)
- Practices depend on coach availability (Mon-Fri)
U11 BOYS & GIRLS -
- Games on Saturdays Mornings/Early Afternoon (typically)
- Practices depend on coach availability (Mon-Fri)
- Optional Technical on Fridays (sign up required)
U13 BOYS & GIRLS
- Games on Saturday Afternoons (typically), possibility for Sundays
- Practices depend on coach availability (Mon-Fri)
- Optional Technical on Fridays (sign up required)
U15 BOYS & GIRLS
- Games on Sunday (typically), possibility for Saturday
- Practices depend on coach availability (Mon-Fri)
- Optional Technical on Fridays (sign up required)
U17/19 BOYS & GIRLS
- Games on Sunday (typically), possibility for Saturday
- Practices depend on coach availability (Mon-Fri)
- Optional Technical on Fridays (sign up required)
SCHEDULE RELEASE DATE - EMSA will have schedules posted approx 1-2 weeks before season start
WHAT WILL WE NEED TO PLAY?
FOOTWEAR
Indoor boots or Turf boots only (no cleats) are recommended for the older age groups, but NOT mandatory. Runners will suffice for the younger age groups (U4-U7).
SHINS GUARDS
Shin guards are mandatory for every player in every age group.
Socks that cover the shin guards are required (socks will be provided to all age groups within BSA).
UNIFORM
BSA supplies a jersey, a pair of shorts and a pair of socks to every player and these items are theirs to keep at the end of the season!
EQUIPMENT
BSA supplies all coaches with soccer balls, pylons, pinnies, and collapsible nets where required.
OTHER
A good attitude! The player who shows up ready and tries their best every time, is sure to learn and enjoy playing the beautiful game of soccer!
WHERE DO WE VOLUNTEER?
BSA is a VOLUNTEER run organization and parent volunteers are required to make the program a success. ALL teams are coached by parent volunteers and without them, we have no soccer!
Each family is required to provide a $250.00 Volunteer Deposit with their registration package. Either by Credit Card Authorization form or Cheque (post-dated April 15, 2025). The volunteer deposit is mandatory and each family is required to work one 4 hour shift. Drop off your deposit at the BSA drop box located in the lobby of the Beaumont Sport & Recreation Center (BSRC) OR by using a credit card authorization form in TeamSnap. Deposits must be submitted at the time of registration. Without a volunteer deposit your child will not be placed on a team.
There are numerous opportunities to volunteer with the BSA, but coaching is the most important and most rewarding! Coaches, Assistant Coaches, and Managers need to register as a 'Team Official' in the EMSA Portal.
Volunteer Exemptions:
There is a Volunteer Buy-Out Option of $150 if you do not wish to volunteer. This option is available during the registration process, but once this option is selected, there is no opportunity to change it or to obtain a refund. This opt-out fee can be paid online or by cheque payable to BSA.
If you have volunteered to Coach, Assistant Coach, Manage a team, or are a member of the Executive Board, or have chosen the volunteer opt-out during registration, then your volunteer shift is considered complete.
Coaching courses are required by EMSA and BSA will reimburse BSA coaches for the cost of those courses for the level being coached. If you are interested in coaching, please select the coach option under your Volunteer Requirement on the Registration Form and the appropriate Age Rep will be in contact with you prior to season start. HOW DO WE REGISTER?
Note: Registration, Volunteer Signup and TeamSnap Payment will be activated August 1st.
STEP 1: REGISTER ONLINE AT EMSASOCCERPORTAL.COM
The soccer portal will open for 2024/25 Indoor registration on August 1st and closes August 31st.
Registrations after August 31st will be placed on a wait list.

Note for people who have moved to a new address: please contact the BSA Administrator before registering so we can update your address and community information on your account.
Note for Club/Premier players – if you are interested in trying out for a Club/Premier program, please indicate so in the online registration. It is the family’s responsibility to check the website for the Try Out Schedule . To hold a spot on a community team pending tryout results, the player registration (fees / deposit / supporting documents) must be completed.
STEP 2: VOLUNTEERING
Register for a volunteer shift click TBA (opens in a new tab) using Sign-Up Calendar
If you are volunteering as a team official click TBA (opens in a new tab) and "Register a Team Official".
If you use a different or previous link to the volunteer page, it may not give you the most current calendar, please ensure you use this link to register for your volunteer commitment. RETURN to this page and proceed to step 3 (payment).
STEP 3: PAYMENT
Please note: The registration is not finalized until payment has been received. For registrations after August 31st, payments will be refunded if your player cannot be placed on a team.
How to Pay:
1. Online – Visa/ MasterCard or Debit can be used to pay through TeamSnap ONLY. Click Here (opens in a new tab) to complete your registration and pay on TeamSnap
2. In-person – A credit card authorization form can be used or a posted dated cheque can be dropped off at the BSA drop box at Beaumont Sport and Recreation Centre (BSRC). At the end of the year, all paperwork will be shredded ONLY IF the volunteer shift has been completed.
All player registrations are subject to our Registration Policy.
Portal registration AND payment on TeamSnap must be received by no later than August 31st to secure a spot on a team.
Any incomplete registrations (missing registration and/or missing payment) after August 31st will be placed on the waitlist and we will contact you ONLY if there is space available after teams are formed.
