INFORMATION for INDOOR 2020-2021
Beaumont Soccer Association is excited to announce that we will be having an indoor season and we will be using the new Beaumont Sport and Recreation Centre for many of our sessions!!
Registration for this season begins August 21st, 2020, and ends September 25th, 2020. Late fees will apply starting September 26, 2020.
The season will run from mid-October until early February.
There will be cohort teams in every age group and each cohort team will be capped at 12 players.
There will be practice sessions and in a mini league. This mini league will consist of the same four cohort teams and will play 10 games in a round robin format. After a 14-day break from all soccer, the cohort teams will play an additional five games against other cohort teams (not just the same three teams from before the break).
Player transfers and trialist players will not be allowed once the sessions begin.
Every team must have a COVID Contact Person that will be responsible for contacting the BSA for any reports of possible COVID-19 symptoms or exposure.
All parents, players, and organizations will need to be ready to discontinue the program if Alberta Health Services cancels the cohort system. Any refunds due to this type of cancelation will be pro-rated depending on the number of games played.
Per Alberta Health Services, athletes should not play on more than one cohort team/sport.
